What others have to say about Claire Godwin and WOBS® ...

If you want to be a winner - be on Claire's next programme! After going round and round in circles, feeling overwhelmed at setting up a new business and frustrated at wasting time at poor quality business coaching groups I was absolutely delighted to stumble across Claire Godwin through a Facebook group. The mentoring group has provided me with the perfect combination of mentoring and coaching, with business development skills and workshops tailored to my needs. After two sessions with Claire I have found the confidence to get out there with my message and arrange a new series of workshops for my clients. If you want to be winner you need to be on the next programme!” Abi Steel, Early Years Trainer and Consultant at Blackberry Cottage Consultancy

I wanted to focus my business back where I wanted it to go and I and couldn’t think of a better place to go for support and guidance than Claire Godwin and  and WOBS.  Corrine Thomas, Consulting & Coaching

I have come away totally buzzing and with a clear plan to follow for the next steps in growing my business. I really want to thank Claire for all her hard work and wonderful facilitation and coaching on the Daring Greatly 2 day retreat. I have come away totally buzzing and with a clear plan to follow for the next steps in growing my business. Claire is so generous with her ideas and time. she created a wonderful space to learn and grown and has shared lots of her skills and experience with me, for which I am extremely grateful. I highly recommend these two days with Claire to take the opportunity to step out of your day to day life for a while, and just take the time, with expert facilitation to work "on" your business - you will come away feeling inspired and motivated to move forward. Many, many thanks Claire. x  Maria Furtek, Integrated Hypnotherapist, Weight and Well-being Coach for Women and Trainer

I’d been struggling to complete my business plan for months. It had become a major obstacle to overcome. Claire helped me see a clear way forward and helped me to identify specific actions I could take. I completed my business plan within three days. I achieved more in those three days, thanks to Claire, than I had achieved in the previous three months and a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. A W Hants. Business Owner

I was looking for a business mentor, someone I could relate to. Someone with the skills, ability and experience to help me make a success of it first time. Here I am a month into the WOBS programme – I’ve got my name, my niche and I’m developing a website and Facebook page so I can get my message out there. My confidence has increased. I’m learning about selling, marketing, product stair casing and all sorts that I just hadn’t a clue about, to be honest. I’m so grateful to have access to Claire’s mentorship and guiding. She keeps me focused and accountable. I appreciate the comradeship with the other WOBS too. If you’re ready to step up a level in your business and you’d like support to achieve that then WOBS is for you. You don’t have to struggle on on your own. Claire cracks open the mystery of how successful businesses are made.” Mairi Clair, Soul Sister Coaching

One month in and it has delivered immediate results. I discovered Claire Godwin at one of her Presentation Skills workshops and was immediately drawn to her warm friendly personality. She shared some brilliant ideas with us and I quickly became hooked! I joined the programme as it offered a mix of business and personal development and one month in it has delivered immediate results. With Claire's guidance and the support of the group I have a new business name, website and I am developing my products and services. Claire Godwin is a brilliant coach and mentor and I highly recommend WOBS programmes. Emma Paxton, Graphic Recording at Imagistic.co.uk

The calls are proper focus and accountability stuff on your business and what actions you need to take to build and grow it. The support from Claire is awesome. Teresa Trangmar, Deliver my Project.

I love the WOBS is REAL. No arty farty stuff (which I can’t bear)……anyway here it is again because I mean every word…………… I used to be a member of several “women in business” Facebook groups, and I too was a little skeptical about paying for one. However, WOBS is so different in so many ways. I know that when I ask a question in here, I am going to get genuine support and honest, solid advice from women who know what they are talking about, and genuinely care. There are no hidden agendas, no-one trying to sell me something or recruit me into their team, or give me a “there, there” and an inspirational quote. I have since left all the other groups I belonged to as I felt they offered no value. In here, as in everything in life, you get what you pay for. As for who I’ve worked with, yes I’ve paid for the services/products of some of our wonderful members – Isobel Gatherer, Susan Cowe Miller, Julie Weston, Louisa Pini, Magdalena Marsden to name a few. But I also feel I’ve “worked” with every single member of this fabulous group in the advice and support I’ve received. Well done Claire and thank you for creating something quite unique. JM

.*. note from Claire – it is against Facebook rules to charge for a Facebook group; WOBS Online Facebook group is  a free bonus as part of WOBS Online membership. Which offers a premium business listing directory, marketing etc 🙂

From my perspective, the ROI comes from interacting regularly with the WOBette community, and sharing our experiences + inspiration + advice + feedback. #WOBSwed is a teensy part of the whole deal; I’d much prefer to give my money and business to someone I have connected with at a personal level, rather than just clicking through on a link that shared during a brief 3 hour window. I am able to tap into such a rich resource of knowledge, experience and visionary action) x C Carling

Honestly, girls! I’m in a few female business women support groups, but WOBS are the very best! HIGHLY recommended. The support is fabulous and a great bunch of awesome women. L Adamson-Brown

Accountability, Helpful advice, keeps me motivated, meet like minded female business owners. C Hunter

For the supportive atmosphere, practical help and opportunities to share what I know to others. G Carter

I joined because being a woman in business can feel like being on a deserted island sometimes. Here (in WOBS) I can find out about biz options facing other women with a lot of the same or similar challenges. Keeps me sane, informed and inspired. C Wilhelm

I’m a member in other FB groups that are part of the paid membership and I get way more value and support in WOBs. xx CT

I joined because WOBS offers the most supportive and practical advice on every business related question and is helping me to drive my business forward. It is inspirational and the combined experience in the group is fantastic. T Trangmar

I was introduced by my dear friend SM who suggested that the passion I have for growing my business into new levels could be assisted by becoming a member of WOBS. R HM

To be in the presence of experienced people. I like the posts, the questions and the chairing of the group. It is something around accountability and where my business confidence can grow safety. L Holyoak

Sharing ideas and problems or challenges should I say! L Pearce

Inspiration, advice and motivation in a supportive atmosphere. J Barrett

I’ve found business opportunities through WOBS. M Collier Talago

Answer: Because most free ones are useless! HL

I joined because of the supportive, non competitive ethos. Good to connect with like-minded women across the UK. L Huckle

To ‘meet’ like minded ladies with similar concerns, worries and values. J Weston

To be part of a community to learn and share. A Galimberti-Rennie

I agree with all of the above and have begun to pay extra for services of members. It’s great to be able to sit back and watch the more regular contributions to see where there is someone who can help, as well as give and receive support. It’s about the info contributions and support in this group. Definitely. MK

Some feedback from Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Workshops

Claire shared practical and achievable techniques for delivering a confident presentation and more than that she also helped with structuring the content in such a way that the audience wants to hear what you have to say and are engaged from the minute you start to speak.  CM Confidence Coach

Had a brilliant day today with Claire Godwin; learning to overcome my fear of public speaking. Claire is an absolute joy to work with and I have learnt so much in a relatively short space of time. Her sense of humour is brilliant and you can’t help but feel relaxed in her company.  You have no idea how much better I feel about things tonight, thanks Claire Godwin. IG Business Owner, Hampshire

I felt really quite stressed out when I arrived (not about delivering presentations) but about work as a whole. But after working with you for the day I came out feeling more confident and believing in myself again. IG Business Owner, Hampshire

In a fun and supportive environment Claire tackled what was at the bottom of holding me back from wanting to stand up in front of an audience.  CM Confidence Coach

My success today was down to you Claire. Thank you for your encouragement and practical strategies and tips for both the content and delivery of my presentation. JW Business Owner, Hampshire

You need a magician to create magic!!  Thanks for being a great magician! Thank you for mentoring us and bringing our group together. HH Policy Manager

The most significant change since working with the Speak your voice programmes is the realisation that I can be me in my presentations, I don’t have to pretend to be someone I am not. LC Housing Project Manager

Claire is wonderful, easy going but tough when she needs to be, honest, non-threatening, and great at building confidence, self-esteem and making you realise you can do it! LC Housing Project Manager

The most significant change for you since working with the Speak your voice programme is more Confidence; it was great to get honest feedback – so important! Go for it, Claire is a great teacher and you will be put at ease. CB Catering Company

I attended Claire’s “Stucture your Talk” Talk on Thursday. I came so out of my comfort zone that I was buzzing with the flow of adrenalin! I listened, I focused, clarified, digested (information and a yummy lunch) and then the Piece de Resistence was that I then Presented and it felt amazing. I now feel ready to ‘Showcase’. Thanks Claire x JS Hypnotherapist

For me the coaching was like taking my mind to the opticians … before, I felt like my life was out of focus and blurry. Now I feel like I’ve got new glasses and everything is sharp and in focus. I can see where I’m going now.

I could best describe the experience as like being given a blueprint to me and I had some real ‘a-ha’ moments.

I now have a significant number of new coping tools and see this as an on-going part of life  … better able top coach my team – improved my understanding of others needs at work ..  Salary increased by £5k as a result
FC Senior Manager

I feel a lot more in control, where work is concerned; I seem to have a lot more choices.

I feel more whole.  I feel that I have more of an understanding of what is going on, and that I’ve been invited (a little) to take part in life rather than being an observer.

My Manager, as one of the few people who know I attend this course (6 one to one coaching sessions) is pleased with my progress.  I think she is quite shocked that this was something I have managed to do. J.P. IT Project Manager

I found the session particularly effective. It was particularly good for me to be able to talk freely, churn out all of the jumble and not feel judged by anything I said! It’s amazing how my perspective changed when I could assess practical steps to take.

Your questions were most appropriate and thought-provoking. Thanks a lot.
